BIG News - Tall sizes are making a comeback

Over the past several years, tall sizes, particularly for sweatshirts, have all but disappeared. Now SanMar, maker of some of the garment industry's most trusted brands such as Sport-Tek®Port Authority® and Port & Company®, has taken the lead in adding a few more inches to many of their most popular clothing lines.

Next time you place an order for custom embroidery or printing, be sure to ask about tall sizes.

Most styles are available now or will be in the next few weeks. Click on the image or here to see the full lineup.

Playoff Fever...

Sometimes sirens blaring are a good thing. Moravia fire trucks have been giving our Moravia Blue Devils Boys Basketball Team well deserved victory laps around town in the last few weeks. For the fourth time since 1996 and the third time in Coach Todd Mulvaney's reign, our guys have earned a spot in the New York State Public High School Class C Playoffs. The team won their sectional playoff tournament and moved from #12 to #9 in the state sportswriter's poll. These guys are good!

The Blue Devils will next meet Beaver River HS on Saturday, March 9, at 11:00 AM at SRC Arena and Events Center, Onondaga Community College, 4585 West Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse at Binghamton High School, at 1:00 pm. A win there and it's on to the state quarterfinals in Glens Falls.

According to Syracuse.com, the game was moved to OCC in response to over 2,500 Beaver River fans having attended last Sunday's Section III Playoff Game at the Carrier Dome. Surely we can send at least that many to this week's game, can't we?

Show your Blue Devils Pride at the next game by wearing a "white-out" tee shirt commemorating the team's sectional championship. Tees will go on sale at 3:00 pm at Glenview Photography & Design on Tuesday, March 5. The first 150 tees will include a coupon good for a free slice of pizza courtesy of Giuseppe's Pizzeria and Glenview Photography & Design.

Go Blue Devils!!!

Christmas in Moravia is Coming!

Be sure to set aside some time on Saturday December 1, 2012 to stop by Moravia for our annual holiday festivities.  This annual event, sponsored by the Moravia-Locke Chamber of Commerce, continues to grow and gain popularity. There will be many activities at the school including a visit by Santa and a vendor fair. Other organizations around town will have their doors open for craft fairs, food and more.  Our local shops, including Glenview Photography and Design, will be open, with special promotions and door prizes.  We will be holding a free drawing for two $50 gift certificates good for in-store merchandise or services.  You can sign up at the store anytime between now and December 1.  Be sure to click on the Christmas in Moravia logo for a preview of all of the happenings.

Musical Instrument Collection Drive

** UPDATE **  Although the May 2012 instrument collection drive is over, you may still drop off a used instrument at any time.  Read on...
Please help provide band instruments to our school students. Good new instruments are too expensive for most families and affordable ones just won't hold up to everyday use. Meanwhile, in the dark corners of our attics and cellars are long-forgotten instruments that once entertained proud parents and grandparents and are just waiting to be played again, even if a little off-key. You can drop off just about any kind of used musical instrument at Glenview Photography & Design during the month of May.
